Are the dive centers really shown at random?
Yes, that is the basic idea behind our platform. Whether you work alone or have 100 employees, your profile will be treated like all the others and matched by chance alone.
However, there are two exceptions:
First, if your profile has not been updated for more than a year, it will not be shown in the preselection.
Second, there are premium listings, which allow you to highlight your profile in the selection of dive centers from the region for one month. To ensure that not only premium dive centers are listed, one place is always randomly assigned. If several profiles participate in the Premium Listing, the places are randomly assigned each time the page loads.
How do I gain access to the marketing tips?
A lot of work goes into creating the regularly updated marketing tips. For this reason, access to these articles and lists is only granted to those who have booked a Premium profile for a year.

Yes, you can manage multiple bases and ships (and, in the long term, dive resorts) with one login. Each location has its own profile, but they can all be managed centrally.
What about data protection - do I need a GDPR declaration or cookies?
No, Scuba-Ads is a self-contained platform that is fully compliant with data protection regulations. You don’t need to integrate anything or observe any legal requirements. We don’t set external tracking cookies or use retargeting or third-party monitoring. This makes your profile legally compliant and trustworthy — free from legal pitfalls.
Who hosts the site - and where is the data located?
Both Scuba-Ads and unterwasser-fotografieren.de are hosted on secure Hetzner servers in Germany. All data is stored within the EU. The hosting is fast, reliable, and GDPR-compliant.
